Country Manager
Arusha, Tanzania

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Country Manager to be part of the Sidai Team. The position is for a full time supervisory role with an emphasis on local sales. The chosen individual would need to be based in Arusha, Tanzania. The ideal candidate would have good people skills, sales experience, be organized, used to working in a challenging environment and passionate about empowering women through craft employment.
Candidates must be fluent in English. An ability to speak Swahili is a big advantage but not essential.

Position Overview:

The CM is required to have an overall knowledge of the business, and must have the foresight to see how the smaller pieces fit into the bigger picture.
Detail oriented position. A perfectionist who is result oriented. This job requires a balance between hands-on and practical work as well as overseeing the organization on a high-level and capacity building the current infrastructure, systems and staff to achieve future growth. The CM will be expected to work in all areas of the organization as necessary with a focus on sales to ensure success and continual growth.
The CM is responsible for planning and implementing sales, overseeing administrative, operational and financial duties. The CM will also need organizational management skills in reporting, and HR with a strong staff management focus.
